Massive Kitchen Renovation in Ash Thomas, Tiverton Devon – Part 1

As the project manager for this exciting kitchen renovation in Ash Thomas, Tiverton Devon, I’m thrilled to share the progress. I’m working closely with APA Plumbing and Heating on this project.

Phase 1: Demolition and Prep Work

The first phase involved a significant amount of demolition and prep work. We took down a non-structural wall to open up the space. The original kitchen worktops were refurbished, and a new section of ceiling was installed. Jonny the plasterer came in to repair, skim, and paint the ceiling and some walls.

Andy from APA helped with the demolition of the wall and ceiling. He also reconfigured the plumbing to move the radiators to a vertical position on the other side of the room. ARAPO Electrics did a fantastic job installing a new set of spotlights and relocating numerous switches.

Building the New Kitchen

Mat, the bespoke kitchen fitter, expertly installed the main units, breakfast bar setup, and the utility kitchen. I also pitched in with the demolition, repairs, and general kitchen prep work.

Flooring and Finishing Touches

Rob Norrish Flooring expertly laid the adjoining floor before seamlessly adding it to the original LVT. Lloydie and James did an amazing job ensuring there were no visible signs of the addition.

The beautiful kitchen units are from Roomworks at RGB Exeter

Stayed Tuned for Part 2!
